I've been reading about the gas shortage creeping
up the east coast so I decided to fill up my car before it got here. You might
ask yourself, what gives Jamie the right to deduce it'll be hitting the Great State Of Virginia before too long? That's easy, my vast domestic policy
experience, of course. See, my state not only borders but is land locked
with the powerful and may I add beautiful, state of North Carolina, the latest
state being effected by the gas shortage, so you can see where I'm coming from.
I've been to North Carolina, I've seen the way they live, with
all their pretty beaches and genteel accents, not as genteel as Georgia's but
Georgia doesn't border my state so I don't have as much expertise where they're
concerned (I've only been there once.). The citizens of North Carolina
regularly cross the border into the Great State Of Virginia. I've had
to deal with them personally. At my grocery store, my bank, they
drive and talk on their cell phones on my roads. Hell, the Governor of
North Carolina, Mike Easley, regularly rears his head and flies over our state,
right over the top of us, the people of the Great State Of
Virginia! You see? I understand them. I get where they're coming from (the
south), that state that borders mine.
Well, we can all be thankful that I do have this
vast domestic experience and was able to call upon it, because gas station after gas station are putting
plastic bags over their gas pumps. Now that I have a full tank of gas, I can continue going to
my grocery store on a regular basis. Hopefully my grocery store will continue
carrying food because I don't have the Agriculture experience to handle a
situation like that, if you saw my vegetable garden, you'd come to that
conclusion yourself.
Thank you and good night..God Bless
America!
