I don't know what librarians actually do, besides look really smart and studious then take off their glasses, let down their hair and look super sexy,
Not the library I work in. Except maybe me. ;-P

Congrats on the food program (I refuse to use the D word). As usual, you find a way to make me appreciate what's good in this world.

Speaking of grocery store blog fodder, I was in the line the other day and some Amish ladies were behind me. I looked back at their cart and they had cream cheese jalapeno poppers and frosted flakes. Who knew they ate this kind of stuff?

And the Sam-I-Am and Green Eggs and Ham tees are perfect!

I'm more surprised they were using a cart.

"Have most people worked in a library before and I'm just unaware of it?"

Uhhh.... YEAH!
We have Wells Fargo, too. They're ranked 2nd among the best banks. Whew!

"No matter, I am a quick study and I understand the Dewy Decimal system, that's what I use to find my books, so I think I'll be ok."

You're ahead of the curve then because a lot of people who are old enough to know what a card catalog is look at me with glazed over eyes when I mention the Dewey Decimal System.

going down a pants size cinched it
Har, har...Nice one!

I had to learn Dewey Decimal from our librarian in middle school. I can't remember it any longer but what was up with that? I think she took it upon herself. Come to think of it, she was probably just finding a way to scam 7th graders into doing shelving for her. Hrm...

I worked at my college library, them ladies were strict!! LOL. But it was great fun and I think it's wonderful that you're volunteering. I'm always amazed at how few people get involved in that kind of thing.

JAMIE I NOTICED YOUR DYED HAIR FIRST!!!LOL
That's true, you did. You were the first person to say anything before I said something. I didn't know the loony down at IHOP would notice, too.

Yay on the diets!

WF has our mortgage too. My sister works there and I keep thinking I should email her to make sure they're not going to go under too, but I'm too afraid of what the answer might be.
